Functional Application Manager-Automation

Purpose of the Job The Application Support engineer will be part of the team supporting Nouryon’s Digital Support Devops team. We are seeking a seasoned .NET C# Developer with a robust understanding of graph theory, expertise in PowerShell scripting, and experience working with Azure Active Directory (AAD), Microsoft Exchange, Intune and SharePoint knowledge. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in version control using Git and deploying code using Azure Pipelines The team will work in a Devops methodology, and team’s efforts will be prioritized and coordinated by the Product Owner /Team Lead /Scrum Master. About the job (Job Responsibilities) Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET and C#. Optimize and refactor existing code to ensure high performance and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and understand their requirements. Ability to analyze complex technical issues and make informed decisions under pressure. Contribute to team agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management. Continuously improve development processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of development activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to their emerging demands. Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with stakeholders and documenting support processes and solutions. Willingness to adapt to new technologies and learn about evolving applications and systems Create documents and make sure that they are reviewed and approved by appropriate stakeholders. Develop and maintain applications, web parts, and workflows in SharePoint. Participate in estimation of User Stories in Story points and commit the efforts required. Develop to cover all user stories acceptance criteria and honor timely deliveries. Resolve production incidents or defects as needed and proactively identify potential issues. before they appear in the production environment; contribute to the root cause analysis. Drive high performance and accountability for own deliverables. Actively participate and contribute into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up, Sprint planning, retrospectives, refinements etc. Collaborate with other team members to achieve the sprint objectives. Drive continual service improvements. Drive knowledge sharing efforts in organization. Periodic standby for emergencies (24x7 availability schedule). .NET C# Development: - Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET and C#. - Optimize and refactor existing code to ensure high performance and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Graph Knowledge: - Apply graph algorithms and theory to solve complex problems. - Implement graph-based data structures and queries in application logic. PowerShell Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks within AAD, Exchange, and Intune environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within automation scripts. Write and maintain documentation for script processes. Azure Active Directory (AAD), Exchange, Intune: Manage and integrate services with Azure Active Directory. Administer Exchange Online environments, including mailbox management and compliance policies. Configure and manage Intune for device management and security policies. Git and Azure DevOps: Use Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests. Create and manage Azure Pipelines to build, test, and deploy .NET applications. Monitor and improve CI/CD processes to ensure efficient deployment workflows. We believe you bring (Education & Experience) Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in .NET and C# development. Experience with graph theory and implementing graph-based solutions. Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation within AAD, Exchange, and Intune. Experience using Git for version control. Familiarity with Azure services, especially in deploying applications using Azure Pipelines. Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Solutions Development, Digital Experience. Experience working in Agile or Devops teams. Ability to effectively manage and resolve application-related incidents, including performing root cause analysis. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
