to uplift everyone everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid Make an impact with a purpose-driven industry leader Join us today and experience Life at Visa Visa s Acceptance Solution is looking for a savvy individual with a technical bend and interest in product ownership to help us continue to grow and launch new features and services The Technical Product Analyst TPA is a hands-on role where you will have to analyze technical artifacts study payment processor specifications and write user stories for our engineering and test engineering teams to build features and products that delight our merchants partners consumers and developers The candidate should have a strong technical background experience working in Payment Gateway Card Payments Financial Services space will be a plus should be a thought leader have exceptional organizational skills written and verbal communication skills and be an analytical and structured thinker If you have strong analytical skills a curious mindset and a strong desire to create a career in technical product management come talk to us You will get a chance to work with some of the brightest payment professionals and take your career to new heights You will be part of the Technical Product Management organization which will enable Visa and our strategic partners to rapidly build iterate and refine payment experiences across all channels such as web and mobile We have a start-up mentality take smart risks solve important problems and adapt and iterate quickly We are looking for someone who is passionate about the payments space to join a team that is made stronger through innovation and collaboration Essential Functions Define detailed business requirements and specifications for existing and new services and products Be hands-on with describing business requirements as technical artifacts UI API designPartner with card acquirers banks and other strategic partners to enable payment processing which facilitates our global footprint expansion Own and execute one or more product features by working closely with technology teams Be skilled at forging strong partnerships with business sponsors product owners architects and developers to define feature sets story maps detailed user stories functional and non-functional to support the fast-paced agile environment Analyze data to provide actionable insights and iterate product capabilities Focus on user feedback metrics and stakeholder feedback Participate in daily scrum meetings for the teams executing on projects being drivenWork closely with senior leadership providing status action plan and recommendationsBe comfortable looking at system logs when needed and identifying bugs when they might appear during course of analysisThis is a hybrid position Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week determined by leadership site with a general guidepost of being in the office 50 or more of the time based on business needs QualificationsBasic Qualifications 5 or more years of work experience and a Bachelor s Degree or with an Advanced Degree e g Masters Should have 1-3 years experience working in Payment Gateway Card Payments Financial Services space in one or more of the following areas- Core Payments Alternative Payments Merchant Partner portals Reporting and Reconciliation Risk Fraud management Payment Security Tokenization etc Hands on experience in developing roadmaps grooming product backlogs writing user stories and coordinating prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast paced ever-changing environment Proficiency working in an agile environment Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work in a global environment and drive consensus in cross-functional Self-motivated results driven with the ability to quickly establish clear well thought out action plans Must have working experience building high volume and large scale distributed systems Technical experience in API SOAP Rest Web Development Demonstrated interpersonal skills to interface well with clients and partners at all levels Fast learner on both technical side and business sideAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin sexual orientation gender identity disability or protected veteran status Visa will also consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law
