Our platforms power high-throughput analytics, entity correlation, anomaly detection, and intelligence workflows across telecom, network, and sensor ecosystems. We operate at the intersection of distributed systems, data engineering, and applied machine intelligence — building products that must be fast, reliable, and trustworthy. Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer who is deeply experienced in packet-switched networking, modern L3–L6 protocols, and large-scale data ingestion pipelines. You will design, implement, and optimize the networking and packet-processing layer that powers Authify's intelligence stack. This is a hands-on engineering role, suited for someone who enjoys working close to the wire, understands how packets behave in the wild, and can architect reliable capture/processing systems used in production. What You'll Work On - Architect and implement high-throughput packet ingestion pipelines for real-time intelligence workloads (10Gbps+ environments). - Decode and process protocols across L3–L6 with deep understanding of packet behaviour, fragmentation, retransmission, jitter, QoS, and flow reconstruction. - Build and optimize network processing microservices using Go (Gin) with a focus on low latency and high reliability. - Work closely with distributed systems engineers to ensure packet → Kafka → Spark pipelines remain lossless, consistent, and horizontally scalable. - Optimize memory, throughput, CPU affinity, I/O, batching, and serialization for performance-critical code. - Collaborate with backend and ML teams to expose networking data in a structured, analysis-ready form. - Implement monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic tools to detect bottlenecks and degradation in pipeline performance. - Contribute to internal standards, testing frameworks, and RFC-level documentation. Required Experience - 4–7 years in network engineering, L3–L6 protocol analysis, packet pipelines, or data-intensive backend systems. - Strong knowledge of packet-switched protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, SIP, RTP, RTCP, GTP, HTTP/2, etc. - Hands-on experience decoding, reconstructing, or analyzing real-world traffic at scale. - Proficiency in Go (or strong willingness + ability to learn quickly). - Strong foundations in OS internals, network stack, concurrency, buffering, kernel networking, and MTU/MSS optimisation. - Experience working in environments that handle real production workloads, not just POCs. - Ability to identify and fix bottlenecks in highly concurrent data flows. Nice to Have - Experience with Kafka, Spark, Kubernetes, or distributed tracing. - Exposure to telecom environments (but not mandatory). - Understanding of ELK stack, TimescaleDB, or MinIO.
