Company Description Next Big Thing (NBT) is a private community for founders. Our goal is to help you raise funds for your startup. Every week, we invite one external investor. Four founders pitch live, and the rest of the community watches to learn how investors think, what they ask, and what a good pitch looks like. We also run expert-led learning sessions, hosted by founders within the community - covering topics across GTM, marketing, sales, fundraising, product, tech, etc. Very practical learning, straight from people building companies. Role Description This is a role for a Community Manager. Remote location. The Community Manager will be responsible for engaging with the community, managing relationships, moderating discussions, planning and executing community events, monitoring feedback, and fostering a positive online and offline community environment. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure consistent messaging and a strong community presence. Qualifications - Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills - Experience in community engagement, social media management, and event coordination - Proficiency in content creation, copywriting, and editing - Basic understanding of analytics and reporting tools to measure community performance - Ability to handle feedback constructively and address community concerns effectively - Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to tasks - Experience in conflict resolution and creating positive interactions among community members - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus
