A US/Canadian based IT MNC is hiring for Lead Data Stage Developer for one of their Banking client.

Work Location: Remote

Shift Timing: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM DataStage 11 Developer with strong expertise in building and optimizing ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will also bring banking domain experience, working on large-scale financial data processing, regulatory reporting, and risk/compliance-related projects. This role requires collaboration with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage 11
- Work on banking/financial data integration projects involving payments, loans, credit, and regulatory data.
- Optimize and tune DataStage jobs for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with data architects to define integration strategies and best practices.
- Work with business analysts to gather and analyze requirements.
- Develop reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of ETL development experience with at least 4+ years in IBM DataStage 11.
- Strong knowledge of banking/financial domain processes (payments, compliance, risk, regulatory reporting, customer data management).
- In-depth understanding of ETL methodologies, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling.
- Hands-on experience with parallel jobs, server jobs, sequencers, and complex transformations in DataStage.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with multiple relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux scripting and job scheduling tools.
- Experience with performance tuning and large-scale data processing.
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-based data integration.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Exposure to Data Governance and Data Quality tools.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
