Location Bangalore India In fast changing markets customers worldwide rely on Thales Thales is a business where brilliant people from all over the world come together to share ideas and inspire each other In aerospace transportation defence security and space our architects design innovative solutions that make our tomorrow s possible Present in India since 1953 Thales is headquartered in Noida Uttar Pradesh and has operational offices and sites spread across Bengaluru Delhi Gurugram Hyderabad Mumbai Pune among others Over 1800 employees are working with Thales and its joint ventures in India Since the beginning Thales has been playing an essential role in India s growth story by sharing its technologies and expertise in Defence Transport Aerospace and Digital Identity and Security markets Job Role Avionics experience preferably one or more systems knowledge on Display and Graphics Primary Flight Display Multi-Functional Display Navigation Display MAP Flight Management System Experience in System Architecture Design Requirements development Code development Verification and Validation Performs System analyses activities for safety reliability maintainability testability regulatory and certification Development and review of systems safety requirements in Aerospace domain Perform systems safety assessment Functional Hazard assessments for Airplane systems functions in line with ARP4761 defined process and methods Creates Fault Tree Analysis Failure Mode Effects Cause Analysis Safety Assessment Reports in accordance with ARP 4761 MIL STD 882 and ARP 4754A Good understand of the certification activities and involvement in the Type Certification and Supplementary Type Certification activities Performs the TSO ETSO activities along with its compliances Good Understanding on the Architectures and able to take System Architecture level changes Leads Planning defining and verifying System Safety requirements to ensure design integrity and safety for certification of aircraft systems subsystems for full lifecycle Experience of system architecture modeling and tools Ability to model system states modes behaviors functional threads user and activity diagrams per SySML framework Contribute in System engineering processes procedures and instructions to ensure system safety in all facets of program operations Work with the system leader and engineering to ensure aircraft systems and subsystems safety of flight Prepare and present technical presentations Present requirement design and or development revision and changes to formal change boards Participate in Safety Panel Reviews Coordinates with engineering functions to define requirements and other specialty engineering groups Review flight documents operational scenarios and subsequent changes for safety impact Perform testing and validation to ensure system designs meet safety operational and functional requirements Develops planning implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management Basic Qualification Skills Required Bachelors engineering degree Preferably Electronics Aeronautical Systems Engineering with up to 8 to 12 years Experience in systems engineering and development process Knowledge and experience in Human Machine Interface conception UI design in particular for Primary Flight Display PFD Navigation Display ND MAP functionality and Synoptic Experience in Model based Systems Engineering preferably MATLAB SIMULINK CAMEO Familiarity with SAE ARP4761 and ARP4754A Experience on the TSO ETSO and MOPS along with its compliances Working experience and handling of the different benches Exposure to different communication protocols A429 A453 A664 Good exposure to A653 understanding or hands on experience on the RTOS Basic understanding of DO 254 DO178C standards is preferred Excellent research problem-solving and critical thinking skills Experience in requirements development verification and validation Exposure on Systems architecture design of Avionics LRU components is preferred Basic understanding of Integrated Modular Avionics IMA architecture is preferred An understanding of systems safety hazards analysis process to include the generation of hazards analysis Experience in safety analysis such as FMEA FTA and Reliability Tools is preferred Basic knowledge of FAA EASA certification and airworthiness requirements is highly desired At Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs With Thales employing 80 000 employees in 68 countries our mobility policy enables thousands of employees each year to develop their careers at home and abroad in their existing areas of expertise or by branching out into new fields Together we believe that embracing flexibility is a smarter way of working Great journeys start here apply now
