Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Marketing, AEM Backend Developer - We are seeking an experienced AEM Backend Developer - Manager who will lead backend engineering across AEM Sites and AEM as a Cloud Service. This role will be responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing backend services, integrations, and platform components that power global, scalable digital experiences. Responsibilities: .Lead AEM backend development across multiple websites, markets, and business units. .Architect and implement OSGi services, Sling Models, servlets, schedulers, workflows, and automation. .Own backend integration strategy for APIs (REST, GraphQL, microservices), ensuring security and scalability. .Govern JCR repository structures, content models, permissions, and optimization. .Drive backend performance tuning, caching strategy, and Cloud Service-ready optimizations. .Manage code reviews, quality gates, unit testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. .Collaborate with Architects, DevOps, QA, Security, and Product teams to deliver secure, performant solutions. .Support content teams with tooling, backend logic, authoring improvements, and automation. .Mentor and lead backend developers manage workload, delivery timelines, and technical roadmap. .Ensure backend systems comply with enterprise standards for security, privacy, logging, and governance. Qualifications: . Deep expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and backend AEM development. . Hands-on knowledge of AEM Cloud Manager, Adobe IO, and Cloud-native patterns. . Experience in secure coding, API authentication, OAuth/SAML, and token-based systems. . Strong understanding of dispatcher behavior, caching layers, and CDN integration. . Ability to establish development best practices.
