Responsibilities Assist in the design development and deployment of modular cloud-based systems Support the development and maintenance of cloud solutions in accordance with best practices Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security Identify analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements Perform threat modeling and design reviews to evaluate the introduction of new technologies security implications and requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures throughout the software development lifecycle Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation including risk assessments security policies and procedures Foster an environment of learning excellence and innovation within the team and across teams Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback Ensure continuous professional development of team members Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Security or related field 7-9 years of experience in cloud security including architecting and implementing solutions on platforms like AWS GCP and Azure Proven experience in application security vulnerability assessment and penetration testing Strong understanding of secure coding practices and knowledge of common security vulnerabilities Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as OWASP ISO 27001 and NIST Experience with security testing tools and automation Relevant certifications such as CISSP CEH or OSCP are a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest security trends threats and technologies
