Job Description Job Description: L3 Network Engineer Location: Pan india ( Relocate To Dubai) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled L3 Network Engineer with deep expertise in network design, architecture, and advanced troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade network solutions, as well as providing L3-level support for complex escalations. This role demands in-depth knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and security practices to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the organization's IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Network Design and Architecture - Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions for enterprise environments. - Develop and maintain network topology diagrams, documentation, and architecture standards. - Evaluate, test, and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and strategies to enhance network efficiency and reliability. Advanced Technical Support - Provide L3-level support for complex network issues escalated from L1 and L2 teams. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and apply permanent resolutions for recurring problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams during major incident resolution to minimize downtime. Network Optimization - Continuously monitor and analyze network performance to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities. - Implement advanced configurations in routing, switching, and network security. - Perform capacity planning and forecasting to meet business growth and technology evolution. Security and Compliance - Design, configure, and enforce network security policies (firewalls, VPNs, access controls). - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, ITIL, etc.). - Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments. Documentation and Reporting - Maintain accurate network configuration and troubleshooting documentation. - Generate regular reports on network performance, incidents, and changes for leadership review. Project Management - Lead network projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new technology rollouts. - Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery. - Provide technical mentorship and guidance to L1/L2 engineers and team members. Experience Qualifications and Skills - 1015 years of overall experience in network engineering, including 35 years in network design and architecture. - Proven experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing large-scale enterprise networks. Technical Skills - Expertise in routing and switching protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLAN, STP. - Strong understanding of network security technologies: Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC. - Proficiency in SD-WAN, MPLS, and hybrid network architectures. - Hands-on experience with network monitoring and automation tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco DNA Center, Ansible). - Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid connectivity models. - Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across complex network topologies. Certifications (Preferred) - CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or higher (CCIE) preferred. - CompTIA Network+ or equivalent vendor-neutral certification. - ITIL Foundation Certification. - Certifications in SD-WAN or Cloud Networking (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking Specialty). Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. - Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to lead projects and mentor technical teams. - High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering reliable network solutions.
