Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for scaling vendor-funded campaigns to drive profitability and reduce customer acquisition costs through efficient paid advertising strategies. You will influence senior stakeholders in Central Marketing and Retail to drive standardization initiatives and develop technological solutions for improved productivity. Leading the expansion of Marketing Storefronts ownership within RBS, with potential to grow to 200+ storefronts generating $3.7B in iGMS, will be a key focus. Your technical acumen will be essential in partnering with technology teams to automate processes and improve operational efficiency, targeting $100M in cost optimization improvements. As an organizational leader, you will develop and execute global site strategies, manage resource allocation, and foster a culture of excellence within the team. You will oversee a team of 40+ Site Merchandizers, make critical decisions on leveling, job family assignments, and hiring strategies based on task complexity, cost, skillset, and language requirements.

The Retail Business Systems (RBS) group is an integral part of Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. RBS' vision is to accelerate Amazon's flywheel by fixing catalog defects and scale critical store operations function by standardization, automation and defect elimination through its selection, defect elimination, product, tech and paid selling partner support operations pillars (PSPS/AVS). The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on Retail Cost to serve, customer buying decisions and vendor experience. This role is within Retail Efficiency program that supports both AVS and non AVS Tier 1 vendors through providing business operations services. - 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience communicating results to stakeholders
- Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion- Experience using SQL to pull data and metrics to deliver reports
- Experience with basic HTML, website management and content management systems (CMS)
