Senior Accountant

MTechZilla is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee financial operations statutory compliance and internal reporting for a fast-scaling software development agency working with clients across the US and Europe The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals statutory filings PF PT ESI GST TDS Advance Tax and Audit and hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Tally Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for financial analysis reporting and automation is essential Key Responsibilities Accounting Financial Management Maintain accurate books of accounts journal entries and reconciliations in Zoho Books or Tally Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports Oversee project-wise income and expense tracking across service lines Manage month-end and year-end closing ensuring clean audit-ready documentation Statutory Compliance Taxation Handle GST TDS Advance Tax and Income Tax filings with accuracy and timeliness Manage PF PT and ESI compliance including challan generation filing and reconciliation Prepare and coordinate for statutory internal and tax audits including documentation and schedules Ensure compliance with LUT License for exports and manage related documentation and renewals Prepare and reconcile export invoices ensuring alignment with foreign remittance and RBI FEMA guidelines Accounts Payable Receivable Process vendor invoices employee reimbursements and payment reconciliations Manage client invoicing through Zoho Books including export invoices under LUT Track receivables follow up on overdue payments and ensure accurate ledger maintenance Maintain payment schedules and project-level cost tracking Budgeting Forecasting Financial Analysis Create annual and departmental budgets with variance analysis Monitor expenses and cash flow providing actionable insights to management Assist in profitability analysis for pods services and projects Support leadership with data-driven recommendations to optimize costs and improve margins Financial Tools Automation Maintain financial systems using Zoho Books primary or Tally secondary Build financial dashboards trackers and reports in Google Sheets or Excel Automate recurring reports cash flow expense and utilization summaries to improve accuracy and efficiency Ensure financial data integrity and synchronization between accounting CRM and project tools Reporting Business Support Prepare and present MIS reports P L statements and cash flow summaries for management Support leadership in preparing investor and internal review decks Coordinate with banks and consultants for international transactions and remittances Ensure all financial operations comply with export taxation and statutory laws Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Accounting Commerce or Finance CA Inter MBA Finance preferred 5 years of experience in accounting and compliance experience in a software or export-oriented company preferred Strong knowledge of PF PT ESI GST TDS Advance Tax and Audit processes Familiarity with export compliance including LUT License management foreign remittance tracking and export invoicing under GST Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Tally for day-to-day accounting Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets pivot tables formulas automation scripts or Excel Excellent understanding of accounting standards and financial analysis Strong communication attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setup Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 40 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Flexible schedule Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Application Question s Are you available for immediate joining If not please mention your notice period Experience GST TDS Advance Tax and Income Tax filings 4 years Preferred Accounting 5 years Preferred Accounting software 4 years Preferred Location Satara Maharashtra Required Work Location In person
