Overview Emmes Group Building a better future for us all Emmes Group is transforming the future of clinical research bringing the promise of new medical discovery closer within reach for patients Emmes Group was founded as Emmes more than 47 years ago becoming one of the primary clinical research providers to the US government before expanding into public-private partnerships and commercial biopharma Emmes has built industry leading capabilities in cell and gene therapy vaccines and infectious diseases ophthalmology rare diseases and neuroscience We believe the work we do will have a direct impact on patients lives and act accordingly We strive to build a collaborative culture at the intersection of being a performance and people driven company Were looking for talented professionals eager to help advance clinical research as we work to embed innovation into the fabric of our company If you share our motivations and passion in research come join us Primary PurposeThe Senior Application Analyst supports assigned Level 2 or 3 business applications and works with staff to collect information about current business processes to determine impact to the business application Senior Application Analysts may serve as backup or trainee on portfolios of business applications The Senior Application Analyst advises management on best outcomes and will support colleagues from across the company to resolve business process and application issues and put appropriate solutions in place Senior Application Analysts also provide support within initiatives related to assigned business applications Responsibilities Stakeholder Communication Ensure mutual understanding of requirements and functional specifications with stakeholders Conduct meetings and presentations to share insights and recommendations Business Process Optimization Review and optimize business processes involving assigned business applications Gather critical information from stakeholders and produce insightful reports Evaluate feasibility based on application capabilities and process improvement standards Documentation and Communication Document and communicate efforts insights and recommendations effectively Assist in developing and updating training documents related to business applications User Acceptance Testing Ensure business applications and processes meet business needs and requirements through user acceptance testing Research and Proposal Research and propose efficient and economical improvements for processes and application efficiencies Relationship Development Build relationships across the company and its affiliates Develop skills in multiple technical environments and understand various business processes Support and Issue Resolution Resolve support issues related to assigned business applications Support adoption efforts and optimize usage of assigned business applications Communication Development Assist in creating communications that clearly convey ideas and recommendations in written and presentation formats Service Improvement Develop and improve service areas Build vendor partnerships for assigned applications Mentoring and Training Provide mentoring coaching and training to new or junior team members Release Management Manage releases for assigned applications Direct Report Management Provide leadership through mentoring guiding and coaching Support recruitment and retention strategies Approve timesheets expense reports and leave requests Conduct performance and compensation reviews collaboratively Address employee relations issues and resolve problems Ensure salary and bonus equity compliance Escalate performance issues to leadership Monitor and assess new employee training Serve as the technical owner of assigned applications when needed Participate in validation activities as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Undergraduate degree in technology business or humanities field preferred 5 years experience in a Business Analyst Enterprise Application Support or similar role preferred Experience explaining technical terms to non-technical staff Familiarity with Office 365 products Experience building customer and stakeholder relationships with a focus on problem resolution Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills Excellent communication and documentation skills including technical writing The ability to work with and influence a variety of stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions Fundamental knowledge of process improvement and or project management tools and frameworks preferred Proficiency with Power BI expert role Azure Data Factory Microsoft Fabric Jira GitHub Proficiency in knowledge of Agile Methodologies Devops Concepts CI CD pipelines Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and experience with business intelligence tools Familiarity with cloud-based services and modern data engineering practices CONNECT WITH US Follow us on Twitter - EmmesCROFind us on LinkedIn - Emmes
