Educational Requirements Minimum Qualification 10th or 12th standard pass depending on employer requirements Preferred Technical Education ITI Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Vocational training in HVAC Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Additional Certifications optional but valuable EPA R-410A or equivalent refrigerant handling certification in some countries Safety and electrical maintenance certification HVAC Technician Certification from recognized institutions Basic computer or control systems knowledge for modern HVAC systems Skills Required Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and thermodynamics Knowledge of electrical circuits wiring and control systems Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults Familiarity with tools like gauges vacuum pumps multimeters etc Good communication and customer service skills Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments indoors outdoors 2 Roles and Responsibilities Installation Install air conditioning systems split window ductable VRV VRF etc Set up refrigerant lines drainage and wiring connections Ensure units are correctly mounted aligned and sealed Maintenance Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance Clean filters coils condensers and evaporators Check refrigerant levels and refill as needed Inspect electrical connections and controls Repair and Troubleshooting Diagnose problems mechanical electrical or refrigerant-related Repair or replace faulty components compressors motors fans thermostats etc Leak testing and sealing refrigerant systems Test operation after repair and ensure performance meets specifications Safety and Compliance Follow safety procedures while handling refrigerants and electrical systems Maintain compliance with environmental and building regulations Document maintenance and repair activities Job Type Full-time Pay From 15 000 00 per month Benefits Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
