With 200 MBBS seats annually and recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC), MTMC is committed to excellence in medical education, clinical training, and healthcare innovation. - Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamshedpur for an information technology manager. The IT manager will oversee the day-to-day IT operations, ensure the reliability and security of the organization's IT infrastructure, and manage a team of IT professionals. Responsibilities include network administration, troubleshooting, managing hardware and software systems, implementing IT policies, ensuring system efficiency, and planning for IT system upgrades and improvements. Qualifications & Essential Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred) - 7-10 years of progressive IT management experience in healthcare, education, or corporate or hospital settings - Proficiency in IT Infrastructure Management, Network Administration, and System Security - Experience in Software Implementation, Troubleshooting, and IT Operations - Strong leadership, team management, and project management skills - Knowledge of IT policy development, strategic planning, and risk assessment - Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in healthcare and education domains - Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills Key Responsibilities: IT Operations Management - Oversee daily IT operations across clinical, academic, and administrative departments - Manage Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Learning Management Systems (LMS) - Lead IT helpdesk, provide technical support, and ensure 99%+ system uptime - Coordinate with vendors and service providers for seamless operations Infrastructure & Network Management - Design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and networking - Manage data center operations and cloud/hybrid environments - Implement disaster recovery and business continuity planning - Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) - Lead ERP implementation, customization, and maintenance for hospital and academic operations - Integrate ERP across finance, HR, academics, hospital management, and clinical systems - Drive user adoption, training, and continuous improvement initiatives - Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues Zero Trust Security Architecture - Develop and implement comprehensive Zero Trust security framework - Deploy Identity & Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and network segmentation - Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (NMC guidelines, data protection laws, HIPAA standards) - Manage cybersecurity incident response and threat mitigation Strategic IT Planning & Governance - Align IT initiatives with institutional goals and NMC compliance requirements - Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships - Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices - Lead digital transformation initiatives in medical education and healthcare delivery Interested candidates may send their updated CV to debasis.sinha@manipal.edu or WhatsApp 9851558060 within 07 days of the publication.
