With 200 MBBS seats annually and recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC), MTMC is committed to excellence in medical education, clinical training, and healthcare innovation.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamshedpur for an information technology manager. The IT manager will oversee the day-to-day IT operations, ensure the reliability and security of the organization's IT infrastructure, and manage a team of IT professionals. Responsibilities include network administration, troubleshooting, managing hardware and software systems, implementing IT policies, ensuring system efficiency, and planning for IT system upgrades and improvements.Qualifications & Essential Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)7-10 years of progressive IT management experience in healthcare, education, or corporate or hospital settingsProficiency in IT Infrastructure Management, Network Administration, and System SecurityExperience in Software Implementation, Troubleshooting, and IT OperationsStrong leadership, team management, and project management skillsKnowledge of IT policy development, strategic planning, and risk assessmentFamiliarity with emerging technologies and their application in healthcare and education domainsStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skillsKey Responsibilities:IT Operations ManagementOversee daily IT operations across clinical, academic, and administrative departmentsManage Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Learning Management Systems (LMS)Lead IT helpdesk, provide technical support, and ensure 99%+ system uptimeCoordinate with vendors and service providers for seamless operationsInfrastructure & Network ManagementDesign, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and networkingManage data center operations and cloud/hybrid environmentsImplement disaster recovery and business continuity planningMonitor system performance and optimize resource utilizationEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP)Lead ERP implementation, customization, and maintenance for hospital and academic operationsIntegrate ERP across finance, HR, academics, hospital management, and clinical systemsDrive user adoption, training, and continuous improvement initiativesTroubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issuesZero Trust Security ArchitectureDevelop and implement comprehensive Zero Trust security frameworkDeploy Identity & Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and network segmentationConduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testingEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations (NMC guidelines, data protection laws, HIPAA standards)Manage cybersecurity incident response and threat mitigationStrategic IT Planning & GovernanceAlign IT initiatives with institutional goals and NMC compliance requirementsManage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationshipsDevelop and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practicesLead digital transformation initiatives in medical education and healthcare deliveryInterested candidates may send their updated CV to debasis.sinha@manipal.edu or WhatsApp 9851558060 within 07 days of the publication.
