Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building custom WordPress websites and themes, optimizing performance, integrating plugins, and ensuring cross-browser and mobile compatibility. You will work closely with our designers, content teams, and back-end developers to deliver high-quality websites and digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Customize existing themes based on client requirements.
- Build responsive websites that function seamlessly across all major devices and browsers.
- Integrate and configure third-party plugins and APIs.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and security.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs, performance issues, or compatibility problems.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
- Maintain version control using Git and follow development best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in WordPress and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 1+ years of experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Experience with custom themes, plugins, and WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Strong understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and filters.
- Knowledge of MySQL, REST APIs, and AJAX.
- Experience with version control (Git) and deployment processes.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with Headless WordPress or modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of security best practices in WordPress.
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
