Current Vacancies 1 Diesel Engine Service Technician Job Location Nagercoil Kanyakumari District Inspects maintains and repairs diesel engines and related systems in vehicles and heavy equipment performing diagnostics repairs and routine maintenance Key duties include using diagnostic tools to identify issues replacing faulty parts documenting work ensuring safety and communicating with customers about necessary repairs and maintenance The role requires technical skills problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning as diesel technology advances Key Responsibilities Diagnosis and Troubleshooting Utilizing diagnostic tools and computer software to pinpoint mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines and their components Maintenance Performing routine maintenance tasks like oil changes filter replacements fluid checks and tire rotations to keep equipment running smoothly Repairs Repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts including engines transmissions braking systems and other mechanical components Record Keeping Documenting all maintenance and repair work in detail for future reference and to maintain client records Customer Communication Explaining technical issues to vehicle owners in understandable terms and discussing the work performed Safety Compliance Adhering to safety regulations company policies and environmental standards to ensure a safe working environment Collaboration Working effectively with other technicians and service managers to complete projects efficiently Testing Conducting test drives and other performance checks to confirm that repairs are successful and the equipment is operating correctly Essential Skills Technical Proficiency Strong knowledge of diesel engines their components and associated electrical and mechanical systems Diagnostic Aptitude The ability to interpret test results and identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions Problem-Solving Skills A knack for finding efficient solutions to complex mechanical problems Communication Skills Clear and concise communication with both co-workers and customers Attention to Detail Meticulous record-keeping and strict adherence to inspection and maintenance checklists Adaptability A willingness to stay current with the latest advancements in diesel technology and tools Job Types Full-time Permanent Work Location In person Expected Start Date 11 09 2025
