Job Description Job Title: Structural Design Locations: Mumbai/Gurgaon Industry: Real Estate Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: senior level Preference Industry: Real estate and design firm Job Summary: In-house peer review of structural engineering deliverables from consultants - design basis reports, analysis models, design calculations, reinforcement detailing and sample GFC drawings. Literature survey/study on structural analysis & design advancements, national and international codes/standards, current global trends, new technology etc. In-house work on organizational level initiatives such as standardization, cost optimization, reduction of construction time etc. Exposure to BIM implementation Important Key Skills to Highlight: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibility Area Key Activities Structural design Developing expertise in static & dynamic analysis, design and detailing of various structural elements isolated/combined footings, raft, pile, pile-raft, columns, shear walls, slabs, beams, retaining walls etc. Study of design aspects and relative advantages of RCC, structural steel and composite construction Understanding of structural engineering analysis and design fundamentals Ability to apply the understanding in real life projects effectively Development work Comparison of different structural systems like framed structure, shear wall, flat slab, flat plate, waffle slab and arriving at cost effective Urge to learn new things and ability to analyse the data Responsibility Area Key Activities Indicative Performance Measures alternative Comparison of different form work systems like Mivan, tunnel form etc., and precast technology, on the layout, repetition and material consumption gathered through study Process adherence Compliance with company defined guidelines and processes Adherence to project timelines Process compliance Process improvement Identification of processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement Recommendation of process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity Implementation of process improvement activities in own work area Initiatives taken Impact of process improvement idea Experience - Post Graduate with 12+ years relevant work experience - Prior experience in Real Estate (Residential Projects) - Hands-on experience of software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD etc. - Knowledge of value engineering in design of structures at various design stages Job Assigned To: Recruiter: Anshika Email: [Confidential Information]
