Company Description Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company which provides a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries The Group believes it is the world leader in food environment and pharmaceutical products testing and in agroscience CRO services It is also one of the global independent market leaders in certain testing and laboratory services for genomics discovery pharmacology forensics advanced material sciences and for supporting clinical studies In addition Eurofins is one of the key emerging players in specialty clinical diagnostic testing in Europe and the USA Group s key figures are approx 3 billion Euros turnover more than 650 laboratories across 45 countries and more than 45 000 staff OVERALL OBJECTIVES As part of Eurofins Environment Testing Europe s IT Infrastructure Support Crew the Cloud Operations Manager will play a key role in running and supporting our Cloud IT infrastructure This position requires expertise in domains like Microsoft Azure Server OS Active Director and related technologies You will work closely with cross-functional IT Crews to ensure seamless operations support projects and drive new infrastructure improvements A collaborative mindset and adaptability to a multicultural environments are essential for success SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS Organisation Eurofins Environment Testing Europe is a leading in Europe lab business operating in most European countries The IT Infrastructure Crew is responsible for core Infrastructure essential for day-to-day business operation IT Infrastructure teams are spread between India and Europe and their goal is to ensure secure reliable and on-budget infrastructure Cloud team is playing a pivotal role in this mission and you will be the one to drive it Responsibilities Manage Cloud team in day-to-day activities ensure our staff delivers valuable service Manage Major Incident resolution to achieve minimal or no business impact Keep the Cloud Infrastructure compliant with company standards security policies and up to date Act as an expert advisor to senior leadership in Cloud related decisions Contribute to Cloud Architecture improvements changes and optimizations Maintain cloud costs within given budgets together with Finance Operations crew Build hire motivate your team to achieve a success in above From here onwards confidential section only for Eurofins HR department headhunter REQUIRED SKILLS Technical Skills Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure support design deployment and cost management Minimum 5 years of Azure IaaS PaaS support experience Solid experience with the deployment and support of Windows Server 2016 2019 2022 including File servers Active Directory and associated Windows roles and features Automation oriented mindset using Ansible Terraform PowerShell Other technologies are welcome Be able to drive your team to use those tools Understanding of Cloud Networking Routing and how it interacts with on-prem and hybrid environments Experience with Windows Public Key Infrastructure PKI including offline root and subordinate configurations Proficiency in utilizing monitoring tools to ensure system performance and availability Knowledge of other on-prem and public cloud vendors will be an asset Knowledge of CI CD code repository software development principles will be an asset Soft Skills 4 years of experience in management of IT Infrastructure teams in Cloud environment with engineers reporting directly to you Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as you will work in a highly international environment Able to coordinate multiple projects and smaller yet important tasks Be able to manage and prioritize backlog activities without supervision Good presentation skills in front of technical and non-technical audience Passion to lead share experience and help others to grow will be a priceless value
