Job Description: Acquara Management Consultant Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst – Corporate Taxation & Tax Planning to support our UAE Corporate Tax practice. The role involves handling end-to-end tax data review, computation preparation, and compliance reporting in accordance with UAE Corporate Tax laws. Key Responsibilities: - Data Extraction & Organization: - Extract, collate, and organize financial data from client systems and accounting software for tax computation purposes. - Tax Scrutiny & Compliance: - Review and scrutinize accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws and guidelines. - Tax Computation Preparation: - Prepare detailed corporate tax computations, reconciliations, and supporting schedules in line with statutory requirements. - Financial Review: - Assist in reviewing and analyzing trial balances, general ledgers, and financial statements to identify key tax adjustments. - Tax Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain proper working papers and documentation to support tax filings, assessments, and audits. - Variance & Financial Analysis: - Perform variance analysis and provide insights on trends in income, expenses, and balance sheet items. - Process & System Improvement: - Contribute to improving accuracy and efficiency in tax computation and reporting processes. Required Skills & Competencies: - Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to numerical accuracy and detail. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). - Tax Knowledge: Basic understanding of Corporate Tax laws and accounting standards. - Communication: Clear and concise written and verbal communication; ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients. - Organization & Time Management: Ability to handle multiple clients and deliver assignments within deadlines.
