Company Description Visa is a world leader in payments and technology with over 259 billion payments transactions flowing safely between consumers merchants financial institutions and government entities in more than 200 countries and territories each year Our mission is to connect the world through the most innovative convenient reliable and secure payments network enabling individuals businesses and economies to thrive while driven by a common purpose - to uplift everyone everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid Make an impact with a purpose-driven industry leader Join us today and experience Life at Visa Job Summary As a ServiceNow Developer you will develop maintain and operate IT systems and infrastructure to support Visa s highly connected and collaborative workforce You will play a crucial role in defining success for the central tool that supports Visa s ongoing services Essential Functions Develop test and debug new and existing functionalities to meet specific requirements Troubleshoot and resolve errors in the ServiceNow configuration Identify requirement gaps and provide configuration options with respective pros and cons Design and implement intuitive and user-friendly software enabling customers to customize functionalities for their business needs Collaborate with internal customers and business analysts for requirement clarifications and solution designing Write technical design and build documentation for all technical infrastructure aspects Research existing systems analyze program and time requirements and prepare time estimates and justifications Participate in project meetings daily scrums and communicate development status This is a hybrid position Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week determined by leadership site with a general guidepost of being in the office 50 or more of the time based on business needs Qualifications Basic Qualifications 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree OR 5 years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications Minimum 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor s degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree e g Masters MBA JD MD Extensive configuration and development experience across ServiceNow Platform Portal Mobile and IT Service Management modules Proficiency in JavaScript AJAX JSON CSS REST SOAP and HTML Strong knowledge of APIs web services and standard relational database concepts Experience with ServiceNow Security features including user administration roles groups and ACLs Understanding of ServiceNow Best Practices Advanced technical skills in UI Policies UI Macros UI Pages Client Scripts Script Includes Business Rules Mid Server Configuration Architecture Import Sets Transform Maps and Update Sets Certifications such as CSA Certified ServiceNow Admin CIS Certified Implementation Specialist or CAD Certified Application Developer are a plus Strong analytical skills for business process and workflow analysis Effective communication skills with customers system administrators team members and management using sound judgment for enterprise impacts of technical decisions Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with geographically dispersed locations Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin sexual orientation gender identity disability or protected veteran status Visa will also consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law
