Sinch is a global leader in the growing market for Communication Platforms as a Service CPaaS and mobile customer engagement We are specialists in allowing businesses to reach everyone on the planet in seconds or less through mobile messaging email voice and video We reach every phone on earth From the lifechanging to the time-saving we re helping our customers to interact with people like never before For you that means working in an environment that offers an incredible variety of exciting challenges and the chance to impact how billions of people engage with their favorite brands The dream of personalizing content to all 15 billion phones on the planet is no fairy tale More than 150 000 businesses including many of the world s largest companies and mobile operators use Sinch s advanced technology platform to engage with their customers Moreover Sinch has been profitable and fast-growing since its foundation Sinch s core values are Make it Happen Dream Big Keep it Simple and Win Together These values describe how our global organization works and inspire every of our more than 5 000 employees across 60 different countries Sinch is seeking a talented and experienced Team Lead to join our dynamic organization As a Team Lead at Sinch you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled professionals and driving their success in achieving team goals and targets Your role will involve managing and developing team members coordinating team activities and providing guidance and support to ensure the team s performance and overall success Key responsibilities Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve team goals and targets Provide guidance coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance Coordinate and monitor team activities to ensure efficient and effective operations Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity Collaborate with other teams and departments to achieve shared goals and objectives Track and analyze team performance metrics and provide reports and recommendations to management Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in team leadership and management Requirements BS MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject Solid scripting skills e g Bash Shell scripts Python Solid networking knowledge OSI network layers TCP IP Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks identify possible solutions and work with engineering to implement those fixes Experience with databases networks LAN WAN and OS patch management Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks Install configure update and maintain operating systems application software and system management tools Solid experience in the database administration e g MySQL MongoDB Redis Prior experience in a leadership position preferably in a similar industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Proven past experience as a Team Lead Senior System Engineer or similar role with team handling experience Experience with monitoring systems and configuration of Nagios tool Proven working experience in installing configuring and troubleshooting UNIX Linux based environments Who are you Experience 5 to 8 yrs Educational Qualification B Tech B E BCA BSc IT MYSQL installation and backup and query execution Tomcat NginX Webservers installation and management Server hardening and security You ll stand out from the crowd if you have Knowledge of Messaging queue Oracle shell scripts RHCE -
