Job Description - Responsible for the Change Management process, for implementing platform enhancements to the underlying infrastructure. - Be accountable for monitoring usage, capacity, and performance of the infrastructure, troubleshooting server, software, and hardware issues. - Utilize monitoring tools for start of day checks for the On Prem / Cloud / XenApp / Remote Access environments, ensuring all services and infrastructure are healthy and working as designed. - Collaborate with colleagues from Engineering and the Technology Service Desk, ensuring timely responses to Incidents and active engagement with Problem Tickets. - Able to analyse complex use cases and incidents, to devise process improvement opportunities that contribute to greater efficiencies and stability enhancements. - Conduct retrospective reviews of outages or incidents by analyzing the causes and proactively working on implementing measures to improve monitoring and initiating the development of preventative controls, that ensure continuity of service, leading to greater reliability and stability. - Experience in defining platform requirements, encompassing, capacity sizing, network, security and controls for system and software components. - Adept at planning, evaluating, migrating, developing, implementing, configuring, and testing system updates, to deploy Hardware, Software, Network and Configuration Control changes to the test and production environments, in accordance with Change Management procedures. Your team - You will be part of the Global Platform and Application Services Operations team in - Pune, India, providing subject matter support to Workspace on Azure, Workspace on - Prem, Remote Access Services and XenApp products. As a Tech System - Administrator, you will play an integral role in monitoring, maintaining and ensuring continuity of service, whilst delivering service improvements to the infrastructure that we manage and support. Your expertise - A minimum of 3+ years experience working in a web hosting environment, within the financial sector. - Knowledge of core Azure Cloud computing concepts (AZ-900 & SC-900 Certification as a minimum requirement, with AZ-104 certification preferred). - Excellent knowledge of Azure, Microsoft Windows Server family, Desktop Virtualization and in-depth understanding of Citrix XenDesktop or Citrix Cloud and its components. - Powershell, Azure CLI, Python, Azure DevOps, Azure ARM templates, Kusto Query Language. - Azure log analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Dashboards, Logic Apps etc. - Good foundational understanding of Agile Methodologies, AI (Artificial Intelligence) Operations, ITIL and Change Management. - Record of accomplishment on problem analysis and resolution, with extensive hands-on IT support experience. - Fluent in English, both written and spoken. - Good report writing and documentation skills, and a strong verbal communicator. - Able to present concepts, ideas, and recommendations in a clearly structured and logical fashion. - Self-motivated, able to prioritise, with excellent time management skills and goal driven. - Quick learner with ability to grasp modern technologies, UBS policies and procedures. - Collaborative nature; willing to share ideas, debate solutions, to achieve consensus on the best way to drive the service forward for the betterment of the organisation. - Able to work in a high pressure and time critical environment. - Attention to detail, keen eye on due diligence - Experience working in a financial or regulated sector, and aware of best practices.
