Job Title: Data Quality Architect - VP

Location: Pune, India

Role Description

- The Data Quality Architect acts as a crucial link between business objectives and data management technology. They ensure the reliability and consistency of data assets, which is vital for effective data-driven decision-making, master data management (MDM), and regulatory compliance.
- Data Quality Architect is responsible for designing and implementing the framework, processes, and tools to ensure an organization's data is accurate, complete, and consistent. Key responsibilities include designing Data Quality Frameworks (DQF), identifying and mitigating data quality issues, establishing data governance practices, and creating monitoring dashboards, all while bridging business needs with technical solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Design and Implement Data Quality Frameworks (DQF): Develop industry-standard best practices for data quality management.
- Data Quality Analysis: Lead and perform data profiling and analysis to identify issues, risks, and vulnerabilities within the data.
- Strategy and Vision: Align data quality initiatives with the organization's strategic goals and target operating model.
- Process and Tool Development: Design sustainable processes and select tools to improve and maintain data integrity.
- Data Governance: Establish and facilitate cross-functional data governance vision and expectations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across IT, business units, and compliance to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Develop progress indicators, dashboards, and metrics to track data quality over time.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members on data quality best practices and technical solutions.

Key Accountabilities

- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data related production issues.
- Provide timely reporting on data quality metrics and trends.
- Document and maintain support procedures for data quality processes.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement data quality improvements.
- Ensure data validation and reconciliation processes are followed.
- Engage with stakeholders to establish procedures for data validation and quality metrics.
- Track data issues using incident tickets and ensure timely resolution or escalate issues for immediate attention if not resolved.
- Maintain and update production support dashboards (Microsoft Power BI) to ensure accuracy and meet monitoring requirements.
- Develop Data Quality health reports for stakeholders to monitor and observe data reliability across the platform.
- Creating and maintaining documentation procedures, and best practices of data governance and related processes
- Provide training to users on tools to promote awareness and adherence.
- Collaborating with data owners and data stewards to ensure data governance is implemented and followed.
- Able to work with vendor as there will be technical platform issues that requires coordination and solution.
- Deliver consistent, accurate and high- quality work while communicating findings and insights in a clear manner.

Your Skills And Experience

- Experience: 1520 years
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) design, and data warehousing.
- Data Quality Knowledge: Strong understanding of data quality dimensions such as completeness, accuracy, validity, and timeliness.
- Data Governance Experience: Experience in establishing and implementing data governance programs.
- Business Acumen: Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively identify and solve complex data quality challenges.
