Project descriptionWe are excited to partner with one of our existing major Commodity Trading clients on their Murex binary Upgrade project This initiative involves upgrading from the current Murex version 40 to the latest version 60 with significant changes across all Murex modules By joining this program you ll have the opportunity to work closely with a well-established client team actively participating from project initiation through to implementation Responsibilities This role is for a Market Data Business Analyst with a major focus on managing all business requirements relating to Global Banking Markets for the provision of market data as part of a wider Market Data team The team works closely with a number of business units to provide an efficient timely and cost-effective solution to meet market data needs and requirements You will be required to gather business requirements and ensure that the solution designed meets the client s functional and non-functional requirements SKILLSMust have - 4 years minimum experience in Market Data - Strong understanding of the Capital Markets - Must have exposure to systems like - Bloomberg Reuters Eikon Factset Dealer Broker Feeds etc - Extensive knowledge and experience of Market data tools such as - MDSL MDM RPM and DACS - Must have strong understanding of reference data - e g Bloomberg Bulk Data License Reuters Datascope - Exposure to Curves Curve assignments for any trading application - Familiarity with data content application functionality from major market data vendors - Good knowledge of the international Equity and Fixed Income marketplace - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Nice to have- Binary upgrade experience is beneficial and adds value to the role - Knowledge of reference data contracts would be beneficial - Python and SQL programming skills - Experience with using visualization software Tableau Qlikview or equivalent - Experience of publishing and modelling data with distributed storage platforms such as - Hadoop or data ingestion into Snowflake - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Should have general accounting knowledge
