Senior Qa Automation Engineer

Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Identifies test cases and creates or updates test case documents with assistance from core engineering team Create detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Executes test cases identify bugs evaluate bugs with appropriate priority and severity and report bugs Estimate prioritize plan and coordinate testing activities Design develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Identifies the gap between the function specifications and implementation Understands the functionality of the entire product and takes ownership of the hot fixes allocated to him her for testing Provides recommendations for enhancing product features Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies Load testing using the open-source tools Experience in the UI Functional automation Selenium API automation using Rest Assured Requirement Minimum of 3-5 years experience in testing web-based products projects Ability to work in a team and challenging environment Knowledge of different types of testing and testing strategies Understands the SDLC Agile SCRUM concepts and software release cycle Knowledge of stress and performance testing desirable Knowledge of automation tool is desirable Knowledge on TFS Jira Excellent Oral and Written communication skills Excellent Team Player skills should have built automation framework library from scratch
