Job Description Billion Broadcaster is looking for a proactive and business-oriented Legal Advisor / In-House Legal Counsel to support our growing media and digital operations. The role involves handling corporate legal advisory, contract management, compliance, IP & advertising laws, and dispute resolution while working closely with internal stakeholders. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities - Corporate & Commercial Legal - Draft, review, vet, and negotiate commercial agreements including client contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, MOUs, SLAs, licensing and service agreements. - Provide legal opinions and advisory to business teams while balancing legal risk and commercial objectives. - Support management with strategic legal inputs for business decisions. Compliance & Regulatory - Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, media, advertising, and digital regulations. - Implement and manage POSH compliance, policies, and training programs. - Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies as required. - Maintain statutory records and internal legal documentation. Intellectual Property & Media Laws - Advise on Intellectual Property matters including copyright, trademark, content rights, creatives, artworks, and digital videos. - Ensure compliance with advertising laws, media regulations, and content usage rights. Dispute Resolution & Recovery - Handle disputes, legal notices, and recovery matters through internal legal processes. - Coordinate with Finance and Business teams for resolution of overdue payments and outstanding dues. - Manage litigation matters by coordinating with external legal counsels when required. HR & Internal Support - Assist HR in drafting and implementing workplace policies and employment-related documentation. - Provide legal support on employment laws and internal disciplinary matters. Required Qualifications & Skills - Education: LLB / BA LLB (LLM preferred). - Experience: 35 years of experience as Legal Advisor / In-House Counsel / Corporate Legal Executive. Strong expertise in: - Contract Drafting & Negotiation - Corporate & Commercial Law - Legal Compliance & Risk Management - Intellectual Property & Advertising Laws - POSH Compliance - Dispute Resolution & Recovery Matters - Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
