The Abroad Counselor will guide students throughout the application and admission processes, including assessing their academic goals, providing career counseling, and assisting with university applications and documentation. Responsibilities include managing communication with university representatives, advising on visa requirements, and supporting pre-departure preparation. Additionally, the role involves staying informed about global education trends to offer accurate and updated guidance. Qualifications - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and university representatives. - Proficiency in career counseling and advising students on program and university selection. - Knowledge of university application processes, documentation, and deadlines. - Understanding of visa procedures and the ability to guide students through the process. - Ability to stay updated on global education trends and scholarship opportunities. - Excellent organization and multitasking skills to manage processes and meet deadlines. - Experience in the education sector or consulting is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree in any field; a background in counseling, education, or related areas is beneficial.
