Developer - React and Python We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer with strong proficiency in React for frontend development and Python for backend development. The ideal candidate will have experience working in dynamic environments, integrating new features into existing codebases, and building scalable applications from end to end. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js, with a strong understanding of modern JavaScript, including ES6+ features. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use, ensuring performance and responsiveness across all devices and platforms. Implement backend logic and RESTful APIs using Python, with frameworks such as Django or Flask. Work with both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, including schema design and query optimization. Integrate front-end interfaces with backend services, ensuring seamless communication between the client and server. Debug, refactor, and enhance existing applications, demonstrating the ability to work with legacy code and improve overall codebase health. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features. Participate in code reviews, testing (unit, integration, and E2E), and agile development practices. Use tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker for version control, continuous integration, and deployment. Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to enhance application performance and user experience. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in frontend development using React.js, including hooks, context, routing, and component lifecycle management. Strong programming skills in Python, with working knowledge of Django or Flask. Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation. Experience integrating new features into existing systems and working within established codebases. Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative workflows (e.g., pull requests, code reviews). Understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to translate designs into functional applications. Familiarity with authentication protocols such as JWT or OAuth2. Solid problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to development challenges. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with containerization tools like Docker. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Heroku, or GCP. Knowledge of testing frameworks and strategies for frontend and backend. Basic understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
