The Global Supply Organization is a multi-continental Function that comprises of the entire Value Chain from product conceptualization to delivery to the commercial front. Within the Global Supply Organization are included, Research & Development, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Department: New Product Development Designation: Deputy General Manager Role: Team Lead - Projects & NPD Reporting to: Head - Product Development Location: Turbhe (Navi Mumbai) What you become a part of: To launch NPDs in various markets based on market needs and products lined up during annual planning on time by coordinating with stakeholders across the organization. What to expect: - Project manage the new launches and track project timelines for individual products, provide weekly updates on the visibility of launch to the team. - Extensive planning for new product launches looking at the value contribution and ensuring maximum flexibility in prioritizing projects. - Develop robust portfolio of differentiated products relevant to Africa market that will help manage life cycle of products and also plug gaps - Tracking new innovative combinations approved in DCGI(India), EXIM data analysis, under development with third parties, competitive intelligence locally - Resolve bottlenecks of projects independently by follow up with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of New Products in the market in line with the planned timelines - Developing stage gate forms like product brief, proposals by collecting information from multiple stake holders like Sourcing; Packaging development team and any other relevant team in India/China. Working on financial feasibility for business case. - Doing strict due diligence, approvals and sign off from all stake holders for new product business case forms, packaging artworks. Control the CCF process. - Supporting in developing briefs for packaging/artworks, providing relevant competitor insights to ensure right pack for the right market - Able to develop key insights for therapy areas, doing analysis for new product launches and well versed in creating impactful presentations for management. Required Skills & Experience Qualification: Bachelor in Pharmacy with MBA/PGDPM is mandatory Experience: Overall 10-15 years of experience of which 10 years’ experience in new product project management and managing team Competencies: - Experience in managing and coordinating projects, with good planning and implementation track record. Good collaboration skills, Self-starter with a go getter attitude. - Strong Planning & Organizing skills, able to multi-task and good man management skills. Ability to secure delivery of tasks from planning stage to launch with agility. Sound knowledge of steps involved in project handling with Third parties /Inhouse, stage gate process. Understanding of Pharmaceutical regulations/ICH guidelines/CTD dossier basic understanding. - Good with numbers and excellent excel and ppt skills. - Fluent in English Travel Requirements: As and when required.
