Job Summary The Manager Physical Security is responsible for overseeing the physical security operations of the organization This role involves developing and implementing security policies managing security personnel and ensuring the safety and security of the organization s assets employees and visitors Key Responsibilities Security Operations Oversee daily security operations including monitoring and patrolling premises Policy Development Develop implement and review physical security policies and procedures Personnel Management Manage and train security staff ensuring they are equipped to handle security tasks effectively Risk Assessment Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities Incident Response Lead the response to security incidents and emergencies coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as needed Surveillance Manage surveillance systems and ensure they are functioning properly Access Control Oversee access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas Reporting Prepare and present security reports to senior management Compliance Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree Experience Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in physical security management or related field Skills Strong understanding of physical security principles and practices Excellent leadership and management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle high-pressure situations Proficiency in security systems and technology Personal Attributes Detail-oriented and vigilant Ethical and trustworthy Proactive and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
