Job Description: Junior QA Engineer (Manual Testing) Experience: 6 months (Manual Testing) Location: Dehradun Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing concepts, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and report defects effectively. Key Responsibilities - Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications. - Understand and follow test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. - Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar. - Perform functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA team members to ensure product quality. - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings. - Assist in improving QA processes and test documentation. Skills & Qualifications - Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. - Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports. - Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman preferred) — good to have. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. - B.Tech degree preferred but candidates with relevant skills and experience may also apply. Nice to Have - Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.). - Basic understanding of SQL queries.
