About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing concepts, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and report defects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Understand and follow test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA team members to ensure product quality.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
  • Assist in improving QA processes and test documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
  • Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman preferred) — good to have.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • B.Tech degree preferred but candidates with relevant skills and experience may also apply.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of SQL queries.
