Model-Based Software and Embedded C Developer for ECU Responsibilities: 1. Define and maintain software architecture for embedded and model-based systems. 2. Design modular, scalable frameworks using embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink. 3. Guide development of control algorithms and model-based ECU functions. 4. Ensure integration of software components across embedded platforms. 5. Establish coding standards, modeling guidelines, and best practices. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, systems, safety, validation). 7. Support ISO 26262 functional safety and cybersecurity compliance. 8. Lead architectural reviews, documentation, and mentor development teams. Required Skills & Experience: 1. Strong expertise in embedded systems and real-time software development. 2. Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Stateflow. 3. Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripheral interfaces. 4. Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), MIL/SIL/HIL testing. 5. Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262). Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field. 2. 8+ years of experience in embedded and model-based software development. 3. Experience in automotive domain and ECU development.
