Senior Oracle Admin - GoldenGate & RAC
Location : Bangalore
Mode: Hybrid
Work Schedule:
- Shift Timing: UK Shift 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST
- On-Call Rotation: Required as part of support coverage
Customer is currently seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in production support to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle DBA roles, with expertise in Data Guard, Oracle GoldenGate, and Backup/Restore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive production support for Oracle databases.
- Manage and maintain Data Guard configurations for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Implement and support Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication.
- Perform regular backup and restore operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Handle Business-As-Usual (BAU) support activities including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Work independently and take full ownership of the assigned shift.
Work Mode:
- Hybrid Model: 3 days working from the Bangalore office
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of Data Guard, GoldenGate, and backup/restore strategies
- Ability to work independently and manage shift responsibilities
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Good to have automation experience
