Senior Piping Engineer- Work Location

Projects in Abu Dhabi Experience in Designing Engineering Responsibilities and Duties 1 Review and approve piping data sheets 2 Review and approve technical bid evaluation done by EPC contractor for piping items 3 Review and approve vendor documentation of piping items as required per ITB 4 Assist project by providing answer to EPC contractor s waiver requests and RFI s related to piping items 5 Plan monitor and report progress for work undertaken 6 Implement the outcome of PEFS HAZOP SIL and MODEL reviews 7 Implement change management procedures 8 Basic and detail design Engineering Piping design calculations and material selection Thickness calculation for piping systems as per the ASME codal requirement 9 Preparation of specifications for raw materials valves and specialties 10 Technical bid evaluations for vendor packages Finalization of Piping layout and Pipe rack layout Inter disciplinary drawing reviews Vendor drawing reviews 11 Review of Isometric drawing and Support drawings 12 Material forecast and final bill of materials review of 3D model support engineering Coordinated with client Response to construction quires and clarifications review of statuary approval drawing and documents 13 Perform plant and piping design work across several engineering disciplines in the 3D integrated design systems 14 managing piping team members and perform piping project execution 15 Quote for proposals and execute the project in timeline 16 Effective utilization manpower and resource planning related to piping activities 17 Coordinating Clients and site team for technical quires clarification and support extend to the successful project completion 18 Coordinating with other disciplines and team members for interface issues 19 Producing Deliverables Documents Drawings adherence to all present technology on project schedule and targeting Zero Defects 20 Finalization software requirements based on project requirement The candidate will assume sole responsibility for assigned piping engineering work scopes To carry out Piping discipline work within a project team supporting the project team for field development of oil and gas production facilities To plan budget organize and control a segment of the Piping engineering deliverables for the project Prepare Piping deliverables and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client s policies and procedures Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule Provide direction and guidance on all piping engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties Liaise with the Client s Engineering Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion Promote safe behaviour at all times Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development construction pre-commissioning and start-up Assist in the coordination of all activities related to piping engineering design Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and or quality and recommend corrective actions as required Skills Qualifications Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 13 years of experience in the oil and gas industry Minimum of 6 years of proven capability in an engineering design company Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage Job Type Full-time Benefits Health insurance Life insurance Provident Fund Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience Piping 3 years Preferred Language English Hindi Preferred Work Location In person
