Job Title Mechanical Engineer - Piping Structure Reports To Senior Mechanical Engineer Project Manager Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer Piping Structure to support engineering design and project execution related to piping systems and structural components The ideal candidate will have experience in 3D modeling stress analysis material selection and familiarity with international codes and standards This role will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery from concept through construction Key Responsibilities Piping Engineering Design and layout of piping systems including preparation of P IDs isometrics and GA drawings Perform pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II or similar software Selection of piping materials and preparation of Material Take-Off MTO Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project specifications Coordinate with process instrumentation and civil teams for routing and clash resolution Provide input to construction and commissioning teams Structural Engineering Design of pipe supports platforms skids and structural steel frameworks Perform static and dynamic structural analysis using software e g STAAD Pro ANSYS Ensure compliance with structural design codes e g AISC IS Eurocodes Prepare structural fabrication and erection drawings Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering B Tech B E 5-8 years of experience in piping and structural design entry-level positions may require less Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD CAESAR II STAAD Pro PV Elite Navisworks etc Knowledge of relevant codes and standards ASME B31 3 B31 1 API ASTM AISC Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills Experience in EPC or EPCM projects Familiarity with 3D model review sessions using tools like SmartPlant PDMS or E3D Exposure to fabrication and installation procedures Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection methods Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 40 767 23 - 55 356 81 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute relocate Rourkela Orissa Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience Mechanical engineering 4 years Required piping structures 3 years Required industrial projects 3 years Preferred Work Location In person Expected Start Date 30 05 2025
