Our tech stack includes Python, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Go, Rust, Azure, Kubernetes, Spark, MLflow, Postgres, graph databases, and vector stores. We are a small, fast-moving team delivering enterprise-grade solutions with startup agility. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and deliver high-quality, performant user interfaces for our SaaS products and client engagements. You will set frontend standards, mentor junior developers, and ship production-grade experiences that directly impact adoption and revenue. Roles and Responsibilities Modern React/Next.js Development • Build applications using React 18+ and Next.js 14+ (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions) • Implement real-time features, infinite scrolling, virtualized lists, and optimistic updates • Create responsive, mobile-first interfaces with strong UX Component Architecture & Design Systems • Build and maintain a reusable component library with Tailwind CSS • Implement design tokens, theming, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) • Document components and patterns with Storybook (or similar) API Integration & Data Management • Integrate REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket APIs • Use React Query/SWR/Next.js data fetching with robust loading/error handling • Apply caching, prefetching, and request deduplication Performance Optimization • Optimize Core Web Vitals, code splitting, lazy loading, and bundle size • Use Next.js image/font optimization and effective caching strategies • Profile and fix rendering bottlenecks -Real-Time & Collaboration • Build collaborative interfaces with presence indicators and live updates • Handle reconnection, offline states, and efficient message handling Developer Experience & Quality • Establish linting, formatting, and testing (unit/integration/E2E) • Contribute to CI/CD for automated testing and deployments • Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior engineers Skills and Qualifications Must-Have Skills • Deep React fundamentals (hooks, context, rendering, performance) • Next.js 14+ (SSR/ISR/CSR trade-offs, App Router, Server Components) • Tailwind CSS and TypeScript • API integration (REST/GraphQL/WebSockets) and error handling • Accessibility practices and semantic HTML/ARIA • Performance profiling with DevTools, Lighthouse, React DevTools Nice-to-Have Skills • State management with Redux, Zustand, or Jotai • Storybook and design system experience • Data visualization (D3.js, Recharts) and animations (Framer Motion) • Testing with React Testing Library, Jest, Playwright/Cypress • Build tools (Webpack, Vite, Turbopack) and familiarity with Figma Education • UG: B.Tech / B.E. – Computer Science / Information Technology • PG: M.Tech / M.E. / Any Postgraduate (preferred) Compensation • Employment Type: Initially Contractual → Conversion to Permanent with benefits • Flexible remote work and opportunities to lead as the team expands Why Join Us • Impact: You will have significant influence on the frontend architecture for our products and shape user experiences that drive adoption. • Growth: Opportunities to lead team(s) as our organization expands. • Learning: Work with the latest in AI, code, and design technologies. • Culture: Flat hierarchy, collaborative, and outcome-driven team.
