About the Role

Our sister company is seeking an experienced U.S. Immigration Paralegal with 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting attorneys in the United States and Canada. This role demands someone who can thrive under pressure, manage high-volume immigration cases, and provide accurate, timely, and professional support directly to attorneys.

You will gain exposure to complex immigration filings, assist with client intake and communication, and play an integral part in case preparation. This position provides a unique learning opportunity, working closely with leading immigration attorneys on employment-based, family-based, and waiver cases.

Key Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years as an Immigration Paralegal in a U.S. or Canadian law firm.
- Case Expertise: TN, L-1, E-1, E-2, employment-based sponsorships, family-based petitions, and waivers.
- Client Interaction: Strong background in client intake, documentation handling, and direct client communications.
- Workload Management: Ability to handle high caseloads under strict deadlines without compromising accuracy.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with immigration case management software such as Docketwise, INSZoom, or LawLogix.
- Communication: Excellent English writing and speaking skills to draft forms, cover letters, and supporting documents.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Case Preparation: Draft, prepare, and review petitions, applications, support letters, affidavits, and waiver packages.
- Client Intake: Collect client details, explain document requirements, and maintain consistent communication throughout the case lifecycle.
- Attorney Support: Work directly with U.S. and Canadian attorneys on filings, submissions, and case strategy.
- Case Management: Maintain files, monitor deadlines, and track all immigration filings with precision.
- Legal Research: Research policies, regulations, and case-specific requirements as guided by attorneys.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and intake staff to resolve discrepancies and keep cases moving.
- Knowledge Building: Stay up-to-date with U.S. immigration law developments, ensuring compliance and awareness across visa categories.
