Position Overview: We’re looking for a passionate Full-stack Software Engineer to join our growing product development team in Kolkata. The candidate must be based in Kolkata or a nearby location, as this is an on-site position. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers and product professionals to build scalable, high-performance enterprise applications that power our next-generation products. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. - Design and build responsive, intuitive, and high-performance user interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. - Develop robust and maintainable backend systems and APIs using Node.js and modern server-side frameworks. - Architect and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and team standards. - Conduct peer code reviews, share feedback, and help maintain a strong engineering culture. - Work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployments, monitor system health, and enhance reliability. - Explore and recommend emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies to continuously improve our stack. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 2–5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js. - Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices. - Sound understanding of database design and performance optimization using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure — including deployment and monitoring. - Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum development workflows. - Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and techniques, and experience integrating AI capabilities into software applications. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail and code quality. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset. - Passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
