Job Description Software Requirements: - Core Technologies: - TAL/pTAL - TACL - Guardian - SQL/MX & Enscribe Database - Pathways - COBOL - Standards and Protocols: - AS2805 and ISO Standards and message formats - Knowledge of scheme regulations and procedures for VISA, MasterCard, and EFTPOS - Experience with MasterCard, VISA, and FINSIM simulators Overall Responsibilities: - Collaborate with team members to apply design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation principles. - Develop high-quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage. - Contribute to the technical design for system enhancements and new features. - Participate actively as a member of the software development team with minimal supervision and occasional guidance. - Provide technical support and assistance to non-technical team members as needed. - Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Contribute to support and technical troubleshooting activities. Technical Skills: - Required Skills: - experience in HPE Nonstop development. - Strong expertise in Connex and its architecture, including components such as AP, TH, PI, and SDX. - Proficiency in TAL/pTAL, TACL, Guardian, SQL/MX, Enscribe, and COBOL. - In-depth knowledge of AS2805 and ISO standards and message formats. - Familiarity with Visa, MasterCard, and EFTPOS scheme regulations and procedures. - Experience with MasterCard, VISA, and FINSIM simulators. Experience: - 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in Connex and HPE Nonstop environments. - Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Day-to-Day Activities: - Collaborate with team members on design and development tasks. - Write, test, and maintain code for new and existing software applications. - Engage in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. - Provide technical support for troubleshooting and issue resolution. - Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred). - Relevant certifications in HPE Nonstop or related technologies are a plus. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical team members. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
