Job Description Key Roles & Responsibilities Documentation & Compliance - Create and maintain all documentation related to R&D lab equipment in line with lab guidelines and quality requirements. - Ensure accurate and up-to-date records for equipment usage, maintenance, and calibration. Equipment Calibration - Coordinate with calibration partners to manage calibration of all lab equipment as per schedule. - Maintain detailed calibration records and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. - Review calibration schedules regularly to ensure consistent equipment performance. Calibration Report Review - Review and validate calibration reports for accuracy and completeness. - Identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions where necessary. - Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to senior quality staff. Internal Lab Audits - Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. - Document findings, recommend improvements, and support implementation of corrective actions. - Participate in continuous improvement activities for lab processes. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Perform functional checks before and after calibration. - Coordinate and perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, collaborating with technicians or calibration partners as needed. - Maintain an updated equipment maintenance log. Qualifications & Skills - Education: B.Tech / B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, or related field. - Experience: Minimum 3 years in equipment calibration, report review, lab audits, and maintenance. - Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards for calibration and lab compliance. - Proficiency with calibration tools, MS Office, and interpreting technical manuals. - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills. - Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
