The role involves evaluating the credit portfolio, monitoring risks, and ensuring regulatory and internal compliance in lending practices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Credit Review & Analysis - Conduct independent reviews of loan proposals and borrower creditworthiness. - Assess repayment capacity, collateral adequacy, and overall financial risk. - Evaluate credit sanction notes for compliance with policies and RBI guidelines. 2. Monitoring & Compliance - Verify adherence to internal credit policies, sanction conditions, and regulatory frameworks. - Identify early warning signals in loan accounts and suggest corrective measures. - Ensure compliance with RBI Prudential norms and internal risk frameworks. 3. Reporting & Documentation - Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations. - Maintain proper documentation of all audit work as per professional standards. 4. Client & Team Interaction - Interact with bank officials, borrowers, and credit officers for clarifications. - Work with audit teams to ensure timely completion of credit audits. Candidate Profile: - Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA). - Experience: 12 years in Credit Audit / Banking Audit / Risk Management. - Technical Expertise: Knowledge of RBI guidelines, banking laws, credit assessment processes. - Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial statements and assess borrower profiles. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication for audit reporting. - Attention to Detail: Precision in identifying compliance gaps and financial irregularities. - Industry Knowledge: Experience/exposure to banking and NBFC sector preferred.
