Job Description Novacoast is a leader in cybersecurity solutions, providing our clients with innovative services to safeguard their digital environments. We are seeking a talented Security Engineer with expertise in Symantec Endpoint Protection to join our expert team and help strengthen our clients security posture. Job Description: As a Security Engineer at Novacoast, you will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures using Symantec Endpoint Protection solutions. Your role will involve assessing client environments, designing security strategies, and providing technical guidance to ensure effective data protection and threat response. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage Symantec Endpoint Protection solutions to protect sensitive data and detect endpoint threats. - Conduct security assessments and provide strategic recommendations to enhance data security and threat response. - Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and tailor solutions to meet those needs. - Monitor security alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and remediation, as necessary. - Deliver technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Symantec Endpoint Protection related issues. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies, procedures, and configurations. - Keep abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and Symantec technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions. Qualifications: - Proven experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection solutions - Strong understanding of data protection principles, endpoint security, and threat management. - Experience in security incident response and vulnerability management. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Strong communication skills for effectively conveying technical concepts to clients and colleagues. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills: - Relevant certifications such as Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) or other security certifications. - Experience with other security technologies and tools. - Must be French Speaking.
