Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Maintenance:

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware components (desktops, laptops, printers, servers, peripherals).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues (malfunctioning components, connectivity problems, peripheral failures).
- Conduct repairs or arrange for replacements of faulty hardware, minimizing disruptions to the business.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware assets, including warranty tracking and lifecycle replacements.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware-related issues and ensure prompt resolutions.
- Keep detailed records of hardware configurations, repairs, and updates.

Network Maintenance:

- Monitor and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points).
- Diagnose and resolve network issues (connectivity problems, hardware failures, software conflicts).
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Perform regular updates and patches to network systems and software for security and feature enhancement.
- Provide technical support for network-related issues (connectivity problems, VPN access, network printer setup).
- Maintain records of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.

Network Optimization:

- Analyze network performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Certifications: CCNA, MCSA, Hardware A+, or any relevant networking certification.
- Experience: Proven experience in network support, with a solid understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
