About the Role OSTTRA IndiaThe Role Systems EngineerThe Team The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Capital Markets Technology professionals who build support and protect the applications that operate our network The technology landscape includes high-performance high-volume applications as well as compute intensive applications leveraging contemporary microservices cloud-based architectures The Impact Together we build support protect and manage high- performance resilient platforms that process more than 100 million messages a day Our services are vital to automated trade processing around the globe managing peak volumes and working with our customers and regulators to ensure the efficient settlement of trades and effective operation of global capital marketsWhat s in it for you We are looking for highly motivated technology professionals who will strengthen our specialisms and champion our uniqueness to create a company that is collaborative respectful and inclusive to all Responsibilities Install and maintain all server hardware and software systems andadminister all server performance and ensure availability for same Help troubleshoot problems with Linux servers running different versions ofLinux including Red Hat and CentOS Engage in continuous testing of new Linux versions and applications on anon-demand basis Assist with user management such as creating accounts for new hires andtraining seasoned professionals on company policies Design and maintain all system tools for all scripts and automation processesand monitor all capacity planning Install and maintain servers Help automate server maintenance includingrunning scripts and automated processes Monitor everyday systems and evaluate availability of all server resources andperform all activities for Linux servers Maintain and monitor all system frameworks and provide after call support toall systems and maintain optimal Linux knowledge Perform change control Maintain server uptime and network performance Assist with server documentation Maintain server security What We re Looking For Degree in Computer Science IT or equivalent area of technical study Minimum 15 years of Industry experience with Linux OS RHEL CentOSetc Installing monitoring and upgrading Linux system software on companyservers and computers Creating and setting standardized backup and recovery policies as well assecurity policies Applying patches and upgrades when necessary Assisting in resolution of hardware software platform problems in complex multi-layered environment Analyzing impact of software changes across other functional units Establish implement and record Unix Administrator best practices Implementing and managing system to proactively monitor infrastructure Specialty in RHEL 7 8 and 9 systemsStrong familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible Terraformand PuppetExperience with Red Hat rgmanager and or Pacemaker clusters is a mustMaintain responsibility for racking deracking servers and network connections Making recommendations for upgrades to hardware and software based onexisting operations pending needs and available budget Familiarity with multiple information technologies that include servervirtualization cloud based infrastructure automation VMWare and AWS Familiarity with high availability disaster recovery LDAP and load balancerconcepts is a plus Experience with troubleshooting and support Java JBoss applications is aplus Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up always-available service is preferred The Location Gurgaon IndiaAbout Company Statement OSTTRA is a market leader in derivatives post-trade processing bringing innovation expertise processes and networks together to solve the post-trade challenges of global financial markets OSTTRA operates cross-asset post-trade processing networks providing a proven suite of Credit Risk Trade Workflow and Optimisation services Together these solutions streamline post-trade workflows enabling firms to connect to counterparties and utilities manage credit risk reduce operational risk and optimise processing to drive post-trade efficiencies OSTTRA was formed in 2021 through the combination of four businesses that have been at the heart of post trade evolution and innovation for the last 20 years MarkitServ Traiana TriOptima and Reset These businesses have an exemplary track record of developing and supporting critical market infrastructure and bring together an established community of market participants comprising all trading relationships and paradigms connected using powerful integration and transformation capabilities About OSTTRACandidates should note that OSTTRA is an independent firm jointly owned by S P Global and CME Group As part of the joint venture S P Global provides recruitment services to OSTTRA -
