We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations and Monitoring Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience who are eager to learn and gain hands-on exposure in operations, reporting, and data monitoring. The role is designed for someone with strong communication skills, a good command over tools like Microsoft Excel and Word, and a curiosity for analyzing data to identify trends and support decision-making.

As an intern, you will work closely with the operations team, supporting day-to-day monitoring activities, preparing reports, and assisting in streamlining processes to ensure efficiency across various functions. This position is ideal for candidates looking to build a foundation in operations management and data-driven problem solving.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Operations Support: Assist the team in overseeing routine operational tasks and ensuring compliance with internal processes and standards.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily activities, monitor performance indicators, and prepare timely updates for the team.
- Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data from different sources to identify patterns, highlight discrepancies, and present actionable insights.
- Documentation: Draft reports, meeting notes, and process documents using MS Word, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Excel Reporting: Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, charts, and dashboards in Excel for data visualization and progress tracking.
- Communication: Collaborate with different departments, share updates, and clearly communicate findings, observations, and recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Suggest ideas for improving efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day monitoring and reporting tasks.
- Learning & Development: Take initiative to learn internal tools, operational workflows, and best practices while contributing to team objectives.

Required Skills

- Verbal Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively.
- Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in using Excel for data entry, analysis, formulas, charts, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Microsoft Word: Ability to draft and format professional reports, letters, and documents with attention to detail.
- Data Analysis: Basic understanding of analyzing datasets, identifying trends, and interpreting results to support operational decisions.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling data, preparing reports, and monitoring processes.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and operational processes quickly.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree (completed or pursuing) in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Management, or any related discipline.
- 0–1 years of experience in operations, monitoring, or data-related roles (internship/academic projects included).
- Familiarity with data analysis concepts and a strong interest in operations and business processes.
