Job Description Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Mechanical Engineer (Additive) Mechanical Engineer (Additive) is primarily responsible to learns the practical application of engineering principal and will work with global cross-functional teams to deliver/maintain the electrical hardware design for medical device in Additive Domain. He/She need to lead the new technology introduction, problem investigation, platform definition, detail design, and verification/validation Responsibilities - Create and optimize designs for components suitable for additive manufacturing processes, ensuring functionality and manufacturability. - Analyze and improve additive manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality output. - Evaluate and select appropriate materials for additive manufacturing applications, considering factors like strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness. - Implement quality control measures to ensure that manufactured components meet industry standards and specifications. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to integrate additive manufacturing into existing workflows. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in additive manufacturing technologies and incorporate new techniques into the production process. - Maintain detailed records of design iterations, process changes, and quality assessments to support continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field - Proven experience in additive manufacturing or related areas within mechanical engineering - Proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of various additive manufacturing technologies, and familiarity with material properties.
