Job Profile - Security GuardPosition Security GuardDepartment Administration SecurityReports to Security Supervisor Administrative OfficerJob Purpose To ensure the safety and security of school premises staff students visitors and property by maintaining vigilance monitoring access and responding to any security-related incidents Key Responsibilities Access Control Monitoring Monitor entry and exit of all persons and vehicles Verify ID cards of staff students and visitors Maintain visitor register and issue visitor passes Safety Security of Premises Patrol assigned areas regularly to detect and prevent unauthorized activities Ensure gates doors and windows are properly locked Keep a watch on CCTV surveillance systems and alarm systems Emergency Response Respond promptly to alarms emergencies or suspicious activities Assist in fire drills evacuation procedures and first aid when required Report incidents to supervisors immediately Discipline Order Maintain discipline at entry gates parking areas and school grounds Prevent loitering vandalism or unsafe activities Ensure students safety during arrival dispersal and events Record Keeping Reporting Maintain daily security logs and incident reports Inform administration about maintenance issues related to security lights cameras gates etc Required Skills Competencies Alertness and strong observation skills Honesty integrity and discipline Ability to handle emergency situations calmly Basic knowledge of first aid and firefighting Good communication and interpersonal skills Qualifications Experience Minimum 10th pass or as per institutional requirement Prior experience in security services preferred Ex-servicemen retired defense or police personnel given preference Working Conditions Rotational shifts day night Both indoor and outdoor duties May require standing walking for long hours Job Type Full-time Pay 6 000 00 - 8 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Language English Preferred Hindi Preferred Work Location In person
