Here s a job description for a Day Security Guard Job Title Day Security Guard Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Day Security Guard to join our team The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises assets and personnel This role requires excellent observational skills attention to detail and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Key Responsibilities - Monitor Premises Patrol the premises regularly to detect any signs of unauthorized access suspicious activity or security breaches - Access Control Manage entry and exit points ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed access - Surveillance Keep watch over CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify potential threats - Emergency Response Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents alarms or emergencies following established protocols - Record Keeping Maintain accurate records of incidents security breaches and daily activities - Communication Collaborate with other security personnel management and emergency services as needed - Customer Service Provide assistance and directions to visitors and employees maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor Requirements - Education High school diploma or equivalent security certifications e g PSARA are a plus - Experience Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred - Skills - Excellent observational and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Physical stamina to patrol premises and respond to incidents - Availability Ability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays if required What We Offer - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for professional growth and development - A supportive and dynamic work environment If you re a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a security role we d love to hear from you Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Internet reimbursement Paid sick time Work Location In person
